Gameplay Enhancing Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Update Hits August 1

Sony has announced that an update for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will arrive next month on August 1, bringing forth a selection of all-new downloadable offerings to Gran Turismo TV, including additional Top Gear and Best Motoring episodes.
For a limited time only, during the first two weeks of the update’s release, all pay-per-view content on GTTV will be offered at the discounted price of $.99. After that, you’ll have to pony up $1.99 for each episode.
Furthermore and perhaps most importantly, the update will offer a number of gameplay enhancement, including penalty judgment related fixes, improved collision physics, and more tire choices for Time Trial.
Though not as “grand” of an update as we’d hoped, it is free after all, so it’s hard to complain.
